Each day in 2014, I am taking a photo. There is no telling what the photo will be or where the “inspiration” will come from. All photos are taken either with my Nikon D5100 or the iPhone (for those times on the go). Come back each Friday for a complete compilation of the past seven days and link to join / view others as part of the 365 projects!
I really need to start using my Nikon a little more as opposed to the oh-so-easy iPhone. I think things are going to start calming down a bit (at least I hope so) – let’s keep our fingers crossed. Here’s this past week!
This week:
Day 17/365: January 17, 2014
I hope this counts even though I didn’t technically take it. I can’t be behind the camera all the time! Got to meet Will Hoge after his show at Billy Bob’s! Name sound familiar? He wrote and sings “Strong” on the Chevy Silverado commercial. Incredible songwriter, performer and is incredibly nice! Check out his music!
Day 18/365: January 18, 2014
Nice days are made for drives! I got in my car and headed north. More on this coming up in a future post soon! Stay tuned!
Day 19/365: January 19, 2014
Yes, my damn tree is still up. It’s to the point where I haven’t had time (I’ve been busy writing posts for y’all). My mom was telling me it was going to start sprouting branches pretty soon. This apartment will turn into a tree house. Yikes! (Side note, the tree finally came down on day 23.)
Day 20/365: January 20, 2014
Days off are nice. Even better when you can go for a walk and not wear a coat! A little weird when you remember it’s still January!
Day 21/365: January 21, 2014
I didn’t leave work until 7:45pm. I usually leave work at 4:30pm. This is just sheer exhaustion and waiting to leave (waiting on others).
Day 22/365: January 22, 2014
A little Target wandering. Enough Said.
I really love your landscape and nature shots. That’s something I’d love to work on more.
Thank you! Those are my favorites to take. I need to start working on my “people” shots.
This is such a fun project!! You’re going to have so many awesome things to look back on at the end of the year ๐
Thanks! You should definitely join in! You’ll have some great ones at the end of this year too! Your wedding is coming up, right?!
Love these glimpses into your traveling life!
Thank you! I can’t wait to see them all at the end of the year!
Love your Day 18 and 20 pictures. They are lovely!
Thank you! Some great scenery out here!
One year I had my tree up until President’s day so don’t feel too bad. Consequently I have resolved to never do that again and it’s usually down the weekend after new years. But hey, if you were still enjoying it, that’s all that really matters in the first place.
That does make me feel better. This was a great tree. Let me tell you – after that mess, I will be taking mine down much earlier next year! I was stabbed by pine needles!
LOVE that shot from your drive. Cannot wait to see more…… I often see things on drives I want a shot of, but unless I stop, they tend to be blurry…..
Thank you! I had to stop for that one. There were a couple places where I wish I did stop. Makes normal trips a little longer, haha. Looking back – totally worth it!
I especially love the one with the trees and the windy road! ๐
Thanks! On a complete whim!
Great photos, I am jealous of the no snow on the ground and not needing to wear a coat.
I’m jealous of everyone with snow. Everyday it feels like the weather changes and when it’s cold, I really wish there was at least some white stuff to come with it!
Day 18 is a great shot!!
Thanks! I love those country shots!
I can’t wait to get out side and take pictures other then of snow and blowing snow and snow plows. come on spring. great pictures
Haha. Maybe find something creative with the snow?
Love them! And love following along this project. You do such fun stuff!
Thanks! You should start one of your cute family! ๐
I love your day 18 and day 20 shots!
Thank you! Love those scenic shots myself!
I love that second photo! And our tree stayed up late this year too ๐
Thank you – Couldn’t drive past without stopping to shoot a couple pictures. Love the country!
