Each day in 2014, I am taking a photo. There is no telling what the photo will be or where the “inspiration” will come from. All photos are taken either with my Nikon D5100 or the iPhone (for those times on the go). Come back each Friday for a complete compilation of the past seven days and link to join / view others as part of the 365 projects!

This week:

Day 10/365: January 10, 2014
Aaron Watson at Billy Bob’s Texas (the World’s Largest Honky Tonk). So many good shows this month. This is the second Friday in a row…. looks like I’ll be there for at least four straight. Here’s to good ole Texas country!

Day 11/365: January 11, 2014
Went out to dinner with some work friends at La Hacienda Ranch. Good food, even better company and some entertainment! (I told him I needed a photo for the day. I’m not sure if he knew I was serious when I said I was going to post it on my site!) Such a good sport!

Day 12/365: January 12, 2014
Sundays are church days. On this day, Matthew 4.

Day 13/365: January 13, 2014
Went and saw Lone Survivor at the movies. This is a must see if you haven’t already. Bring a box of tissues. In the meantime, be sure to thank every service member you come across.

Day 14/365: January 14, 2014
Those Girl Scouts… sneaking in their cookie sales about two weeks after everyone starts their New Years resolutions. Good thing this girl doesn’t go for the weight loss resolution, I can enjoy these – my favorite!

Day 15/365: January 15, 2014
Well, I needed a photo tonight. Yes, I still have my tree up. The theme (for ideas) in the Catch the Moment 365 group is “cold” this week… I’m in Texas so we’ll pretend with this snowflake ornament.

Day 16/365: January 16, 2014
I’ve seen way too much of my work keyboard this week. Way too much.

I actually think it’s kind of clever to tempt people with the delicious goodness of it all. People are vulnerable during this time, haha. A little evil but I guess it’s “business”. I would be in the worst trouble if I had a daughter in Girl Scouts, haha!

I love your idea behind the cold theme – I didn’t get one this past week. Next week for sure though. I love the guy on the kiddie ride though haha Those are my favorite girl scout cookies too – yum yum!!! The pen on the keyboard is such a neat shot too. haha okay really I just love them all 😉

Thanks! I was running out of ideas so when I do – I just look for ideas in other places! The GS cookies are the devil. Pretty sure that box was gone in a couple days. Whoops!

I’m really glad to hear someone say that because I’m slightly embarrassed, but I’m not. I love it and have a hard time taking it down every year. It’s just so warm and inviting!

Those Girl Scouts stalk me at the store, I can just feel them looking at me and I get consumed with so much gilt that I cave. Then I’m so happy for the cookies and once the box is empty its “why did I do that?” haha!

I really wish that it was a little more “winter like” here sometimes. It really throws me off that it’s January and I don’t need to wear a coat some days.
