Cinnamon Roll Crescents

This is a recipe for the easiest almost cinnamon rolls that you can make. Make them for yourself or for a group. It’s easy as pie, well, easier. This is my adaptation from a recipe I found on Pinterest.

Cinnamon Roll CrescentsIngredients
Rolls:
1 Pillsbury Crescents Roll
1 TBSP Butter / Margarine, melted
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 TBSP Cinnamon
Topping:
1/4 cup Confectionery Sugar
1 TBSP Milk

Directions
1. Roll the crescent rolls out onto a flat surface and separate each triangle.
2. Add a small amount of the melted butter/margarine onto each triangle, just enough to cover the dough.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cover each triangle with a coating of the sugar mixture.
(Optional: Add an apple slice to the wide end of the crescent.)

4. Roll the dough, wide end to the middle end.
5. Once all doughs are rolled up, re-roll crescents in left over mixture on flat surface.
(Tip: I create crescents on the cooking sheet I am baking them on. This allows for excess sugar/cinnamon mixture to cook and absorb into the dough.)

6. Place on baking sheet and cook at 350 degrees until brown (around 10 minutes).

8. Drizzle over warm crescents once they come out of the oven.
