Well it’s been a little while since I’ve posted about my garden. Last February, I decided to try out gardening on the patio. At first, I was scared and thought that nothing would grow considering I had no idea what I was doing. Now I’m pretty happy with what’s become of it all! I guess my Memere was right, gardening must be in my genes. I love it so I thought I would share!
For a while all I was getting was mini vegetables. I had tomatoes the size of your pinky nails and green peppers the size of your thumbs. I was growing the mini version of the mini. Times have changed! Must be the weather helped out a bit.
My aloe plant. This little guy mass produced creating thirteen other plants I now need to find homes for. It’s like a bunny this guy.
A couple weeks ago, I attended a wedding and the gift for the guests were succulents. Well they are so pretty and I’ll be happy if these mass produce, unlike the aloe plants, haha.
Hello herbs! Parsley and Oregano!
Tomato Plants
I think the onions have seen better days. I’m not sure what the issue is with these guys.
Strawberry Plant
I guess the vines have grown new plants which I could replant or give away if anyone wants to try them out. I only got a couple strawberries though during the spring. They too were little.
Now to my favorite veggie – Green Peppers. I think I have nine plants total. All of different sizes and shapes.
For a little while I thought these guys were jalapenos. Wrong. We bit into one. It’s a green pepper. The most bitter green pepper I have ever tasted.
Here are a couple that look a little more like a green pepper. Hopefully they’re a bit tastier!
This is my pride a joy! My champion! My jolly green giant!
If you have any great tips for my garden – please let me know! I’d love to hear them!
