Eight years ago this week, I packed up my car and moved to Texas. It was right about now, I was traveling somewhere between Vermont and Texas hoping that my car would make it with no problems and the weather would stay clear. After I moved, those wheels kept on turning and traveling became a much larger pastime in my life. My car was getting older and so was the mileage. The envy of a new car was on the horizon and in 2012 my dreams became a reality.

Over time I knew what kind of features that I was looking for – roomier, long-lasting, sporty, durable, something that I can fit my bike into and a vehicle that I could safely take on my travels for a long, long time! Who is with me? I wanted to hit the road with no worries ALL day and see as much as I could whenever I could. Over the last few years, I’ve done just that and couldn’t imagine my life without a set of wheels of my own!

This year DFW Auto Show attendees can find the perfect car to fit their needs. With a long list of manufacturers in attendance, everyone is bound to find something that they will fall in love with! With over a half a million square feet of space to view and check out cars, trucks and SUV’s – THIS is the place to dream and shop! Maybe it’s something you never in a million years imagined you wanted or it could even be to see the new upgrades on a vehicle that you currently own!

One of the opportunities available at this years event is the Ride and Drive event. Kia will be participating to the public during the DFW Auto Show’s public days. They will have the full line of models available to for test drives; you can try out a new car with no sales pressure! (Isn’t that the best way?) Kia is known as a “more for the money” brand; the company’s strategy is to give its customers a lot of value (read= luxury, quality and style) for the money. Last year they created James Bond-type ads for the new Sorento. They also introduced a completely redesigned Sedona minivan which is great for the family and those road trips we’re all planning! Summer travel is right around the corner!
