Summer comes the heat and in the South it’s extremely evident. Can we just say hot and parched?! I’ve learned it’s always a great idea to keep an extra beverage or drink options on hand when on the go! Convenience is key! Not all things change – Kool-Aid still has the kick like no other!

As a child, I couldn’t wait for summer to come around. Endless days playing outside, coming inside only when we needed a drink or when we were hungry. As an adult, summer hasn’t changed completely. I know, I still can’t wait to get out of work and go outside for run, bike ride or even venture out for a drive – destination unknown.

On a recent shopping trip, some of those summer memories came back when I spotted this display in the beverage aisle of Walmart. Grape. Cherry. Fruit Punch. We use to make popsicles with my mom, those won’t do the trick in a cooler in the car but now there’s even more options!

Headed to a group picnic or activity? The new 96 oz bottle is perfect for multiples or even just to keep in the fridge for the family. [Make a punch by adding in a beverage with a little extra carbonation.]

Remember the individual packets? It was so fun to pick them out as kids. Well, they’re still available!
Finally, (this is my favorite) Kool-Aid liquid! Talk about convenience and a packable size. This is my perfect go to if I’m on the road and can easily add it to a bottle of water for a little flavor.

Recently, a couple of friends came to visit from out of town. We went horseback riding and it was so quick and easy to stick this in the cooler along with some bottles of water. After being in the hot sun for over an hour, it was the perfect addition to my water for a little extra flavor!It’s even great to bring to work!
