These stores are typically located within malls and are a one-stop-shop for all of your mobility needs (mobile carriers, phones, tablets and accessories), cool new gadgets and the best electronics. The convenience in these stores is astounding. Not only do they cover all carriers but there’s no wait time (we’ve all waited forever at least once in our mobile provider’s store), options to schedule appointments and incredibly friendly service. Plus, you’re already in the mall shopping, it’s just a really quick stop!

I happened to swing by the Best Buy Mobile Specialty Store at my local mall over the weekend and learned about a great promotion that they are hosting, that’s almost unbelievable. How does the plan work?

The My Way Student Promotion is a student mobile plan with one year of unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data ($10 charge for unlimited data / month) with the purchase of any phone provided by Sprint. Must be a student. No service agreements. An additional one-time $36 activation fee does apply.

For every referral provided, the student will also receive an additional 12 months of free service of the unlimited plan stated above. (Only student lines share free service.) Save on your mobile phone bill!

Staying Active with a Healthy Snack – Outshine Fruit Bars

Over the last year, keeping active and eating healthier has become a larger part of my life. Eating healthier is the harder of the two, would you not agree? One of my biggest challenges has been finding healthy snacks and when I do, I like to share them! My nemesis has been ice cream but I’ve recently found my healthy alternative – Outshine Fruit Bars, made with all fruit and still satisfies my cravings for something sweet!

I’m in Texas and if you haven’t noticed I’m usually on the go. It’s obvious the “cool” tasting snacks will get us hooked quickly as it’s pretty warm here the majority of the year. After a day of biking, running, being out on the boat, or just staying in for a movie it’s fairly easy to just reach into the freezer and grab what’s there. I’ve just had to make sure it’s something healthy to keep myself energized and feeling great.

Instead of a bowl of something sweet, I grab an Outshine Fruit Bar. Sometimes, I’ll pair it with humus and low fat tortilla chips or a banana after a long run. The portion is perfect, still cool enough to hit the spot on a hot day and it’s great to take on the go! Whether I’m heading to the lake, bike trail or a BBQ with friends, these frozen bars are a great option!

Outshine Fruit Bars are a healthy snack option made with real natural fruit or fruit juice with many flavor options. Gluten, corn syrup and fat-free (except for Creamy Coconut) and a great source of Vitamin C. Even if I’m not getting that Vitamin C from the sun, I’m still catching it with the fruit bars. Disclaimer: I received a Lightscoop for reviewing purposes. As always, the opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Photography is one of my most favorite things to do (if you haven’t noticed)! Taking photos with a flash is not. In the past, I’ve become frustrated when taking photos inside ( hello dark lit restaurants), at night or with friends in a dimly lit room. Times have changed y’all!

Professor Kobre’s Lightscoop is a mirror for your camera flash which deflects the flash from the subject of your shot. The Lightscoop device is placed in front of your flash, the light is deflected off the mirror of the Lightscoop, reflected off the walls and ceiling which brightens the subject (indirectly).

Thus, your picture will not be incredibly light, your friends will not be blinded and your fear and frustration of taking these photos will disappear!
