Flying into Burlington International Airport. 08/24/2013

One of my absolute favorite views is flying into Burlington International Airport in Vermont. Breathtaking views, beautiful Green Mountains but most of all it means that I’m home!

Get ready for great posts about my home state of Vermont. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up and attend college and I’m wicked excited to be sharing it with you! So although my posts will be scarce this week, get ready for a ton of fun in the near future!

WW: Chicago Sights & One of My Favorite Things

For this edition of Wordless Wednesday, I thought I would share with you a few more photos from Chicago. Is it possible to fall in love with a city that you hardly got to explore? The buildings, the architecture, not to mention how Chicago was so clean (at least where we were)! I’m already looking for an excuse to go back… Wrigley Field – you’re on the top of my list!

031030PicMonkey CollageThen it happened… I spotted a watertower! I think we all know I love to photograph these them (as seen here and here).

037And then I found more!077076080As much as I love water towers in the country landscape, there’s something about them sitting on the rooftops in the city that’s just as appealing. Hope you enjoy!

Heading to Justin

Last week, I was headed to Justin and I did what I do when I head anywhere, take a road that may not always be taken and see what I can find along the way. Never steers me wrong. For some reason this year, I am totally intrigued by round bales just sitting in large open fields. Rarely, do I enjoy pictures of myself but I would love to just get out there and have some pictures taken of me (or take pictures of others). What a beautiful back drop! The sunflowers make it even better!

To top it off, I found this old barn. We all know how much I love old barns (barns, windmills, old homes, the list goes on and on). I couldn’t help myself.
