August went by so fast and I was lucky enough to visit Vermont for almost two weeks! Today, I’m sharing a couple shots from my roadside travels!

First I filled you in on Mary’s Cafe, now here is a little more about Strawn!
Strawn, Texas – population 680 is located an hour and fifteen minute west of Fort Worth. The drive is worth it. The picturesque little Texas town where the streets are brick, the air is clean and a train runs dead center through town. Six man football championships paint the side of buildings and everyone was incredibly friendly.

First, the homes. Absolutely adorable! Some of the best porches around.
Into Town…a little old with a little new but so peaceful.
The Railroad… the tracks just seem to go on forever!

Nothing beats a drive out into the middle of nowhere and the middle of nowhere can definitely be found in Texas. These photos were taken off Highway 180 between Weatherford and Strawn, Texas.
Palo Pinto Courthouse. This town is tiny but the courthouse area has so much character. Brings you back in time…
Back on the road… there’s a whole lot of nothing. I love it!
