These are some beautiful ideas for brightening up an apartment patio! I have never had much of a green thumb, but I’m thinking about giving some of these a try this spring; they just look so pretty! Pinned!

My green thumb isn’t the best but for some reason I try something pretty annually. We’ll see what I come up with this year.
Love the pallet idea! I want vertical gardens….this is a fun post! I am pinning it!

I would’ve never thought of the pallet idea. I guess you can do anything with those! Thanks for pinning!
I love the one in the very center! Cute!

Thanks! It’s pretty, isn’t it?!
I have tried the Mason Jar Planters and pots on the patio. We never got enough sun, though. We moved into a house and I do raised bed planters now. Sun makes all the difference! But, my herbs did well in the mason jars. Coming over from TXWB.

Good to know about the mason jars – I may try it! Thanks for stopping by!
I love the mason jar idea! They are all nice.
I’ve been meaning to try my hand at gardening but I’m afraid I may not have the patience for it.

Me too! It seems like I try the gardening thing every year or so and can’t quite pull it off. Maybe this year 🙂
We don’t live in an apartment but we have soil that is mostly clay so nothing wants to grow, I’d definitely like to try one of these sometime, then maybe my plants wouldn’t all die (but if they did I wouldn’t have an excuse anymore).

These may work for you too! Raised beds are a great idea as well. I use to live in an apartment with a cement balcony – in Texas the sun sucks right into it and makes everything fry. Maybe this year it’ll be different!
Hi Diana,
Great ideas for an apartment patio garden – or a sunroom too! These are ideal plants and planters for any area that offers some space and sunshine for plants/herbs to thrive.
