Last week, I shared with you my experience just outside of Fort Worth. (View, Peter Pan, Texas Sized Rocker and Natty Flat)Today, I wanted to share with you a few more pictures from my drive. In all seriousness, I never get sick of these back roads. The view is awesome. I kind of just want to pop open the hatch of my car and just sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Hope you enjoy the pictures!
There is nothing like taking pictures of these old shacks. I couldn’t get closer to this one. They had a no trespassing sign in their driveway / road.
Wild turkeys! I got kind of excited when I saw these and I thought of my brother. He would’ve started making the gobbling noises and if it was hunting season, there would’ve been at least one dead. When is turkey hunting season in Texas anyway?
You know me and my windmills!
…And fences!
One more old house!
Have a great Wednesday y’all!
Today I’m linking up with The Paper Mama, Jenni From the Blog and Project Alicia for {Wordless Wednesday}.
Being a country girl myself, I am loving these photos! Brings back a lot of memories from my home town.
Thanks so much! You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl!
I am drawn to shacks too! There is something so mysterious to them 🙂 What a neat little town!
Definitely! Like there’s a story waiting to be told.
