So I really feel as if I need to apologize, I’ve been a pretty bad blogger this past week. The holidays have surely gotten the best of me but that doesn’t mean everyone is in the same boat.

What is your favorite memory from this years holiday season. The memory of the time spent with my family at my brothers house. All 4 of my children there and 8 of my grandchildren, along with my mother and my brother and his family.
Your blog touches upon saving money and homemade gifts – what’s the gift that you are most proud of making this year? I tried my hand at making crochet topped towels this year for the women on my list. They turned out well and were much appreciated by each of them. I look forward to making more.
Do you travel anywhere for the holidays? What’s your favorite place to travel during the holiday season? We don’t travel. I am fortunate that most of my immediate family lives right here in town.
Is there a town near your (or home) that goes all out for the holidays? What’s unique to do where you live during the holiday season? I’ve never been anywhere else for the holidays. My home town hosts a luminary which is about a 16 block radius. Lots of activities that night including a soup supper.
Describe your favorite travel destination. Where? What do you love about it? What must others do here? My favorite place to go is an RV resort named Spring Lake. Although it’s only about 40 minutes from home, I love to go out there and rent a cabin or camper. It’s so quiet and peaceful. So nice to be away from the stress of home, and somewhere where we can live the simple life, even if just for a few days.
What is your New Years Resolution? I have several goals for the coming year, which include decluttering and re-organizing our home, continually working on my crafts, and continually working in squidoo.
How do you plan on bringing in the New Year? We will just have a quiet evening at home (hubby and I). We just plan on watching a movie together.
What can we expect to see on your blog in the coming year? I hope to start having a lot more money saving posts, as well as reviews and giveaways!
