I recently went to the Farmers Market in Grand Prairie, Texas. It’s located right off Main Street. Super easy to find and plenty of room to park (there’s a parking lot across the street behind the building). It’s not small but not huge, very festive and has a good assortment of products available. I loved the fact that it was located right under a water tower! We all know how much I love my water towers!
There is a small building on the property that you can walk thru. This is where most of the fruits, veggies and food products can be found. There were samples too!
The pumpkin patch here was much different than the pumpkin patches I’m use to. Also, a little expensive for those little guys.
These chairs were being raffled off. They were all pained something different. Pretty neat!
Here is another look at the outside of the building. This farmers market is very kid oriented. They had pumpkin paintings and some other things going around. Definitely a good place to bring the kids!
And there’s even a nice little spot for some photo opps!
Oh my goodness, this looks glorious! One of my best friends from college grew up in Grand Prairie!
Craziness! It’s such a small world!
Looks like a really nice farmers market, we’ll have to check it out sometime.
I LOVE farmer’s markets and this looks like such a great one!!! Love your pictures 🙂
Everything looks so nice and fresh. Up in Vermont our gardens are all done. Nice story and nice photos Diana.
awww I really wish I lived in the south and we still had farmer’s markets! I miss them a lot. And my garden, too.. Everything is already frozen here. Ugh
Yes – the South definitely has something going on with the two growing seasons. Perhaps we should live vicariously thru each other – I’ll go to the Farmers Markets, you can enjoy the fall season for me! 🙂
