Yesterday, I talked a bit about day 1 of the races but frankly there’s a lot to see. Lots of great people watching, lots of perusing around. There’s celebrities to meet, vendors to check out, shopping to do. Most drivers have a trailer out there where you can buy memorabilia. It’s an all around good time. Here are some of my “sights”.
First thing was first, I had to meet some of the Duck Dynasty folks. Now I only have Jase, Uncle Si and Phil left to meet. (I met Willie and Korie last fall.)

My dad is a huge fan of Fast n’ Loud – a car show on Discovery. It’s based on the Gas Monkey Garage here in Dallas. Now if only I had told him about my dad’s cars.

The parking lot is a great place to see “things”. Everyone gets into the spirit. It’s pretty great!

This is the best brat I have ever had in my life (and the most filling). One of the people who was camping with us had shot a pig and had these made. Seriously, I can’t even talk about it because I want another one. So delicious!

While at the races, we camped out. Below is our camp site, complete with a fire pit and flags. All you can see are RV’s, RV’s and more RV’s! It’s a lot of fun!

Today I’m linking up with The Paper Mama, Jenni From the Blog and Project Alicia for {Wordless Wednesday}.

Hi Holli! I hate to even say this but Ms Kay was not friendly. We weren’t sure if it was because we were the last person in line but we were trying to talk to them and she wouldn’t say a word and then just got up from the table. We had friends who went to the second signing in the afternoon and said she was the same way. She seems so sweet on the show. A little disappointing – like a burst bubble :/
